Members finally get the draw of lots

This is heartening to know and inform you that finally after a struggle of four years, DDA has taken out draw of lots for two societies only namely THE DELHI TRANSPORTERS CGHS LTD and THE GREAT LAYALLPUR C.G.H.S LTD. It may be recalled that these two societies are out of a list of 48 societies which was published by the Govt. in the newspapers during 2nd February 2008 . These 48 societies are not under CBI scanner.

The process in this regard culminating in allotment of only two societies took more than eight months.  It may be noted that, in respect of 57 societies (under CBI scanner) which were cleared by the Hon'ble Delhi High Court on 25th August 2008, the process is at very nascent stage. Today’s draw is a small step in getting other societies their overdue allotment of a House at the earliest.  Our best wishes for them.
