A meeting was organised by Dwarka police with the representatives of RWAs and CGHS
managements from across the city at CCRT auditorium recently. All the RWAs, managing committees of CGHS, Dwarka Forum, Dwarka Lok Kalyan Manch, Federation of RWAs, Federation of CGHS and so on were invited for the meet to share and act collectively to make the city safer on all fronts. Most of the questions raised on the occasion were related to verification, open drinking and encroachment.
To file an FIR was one of the most hot topic under discussion during the meet. Dwarka Forum raised the issue of 100 % registration of FIR while Dwarka Lok Kalyan Manch raised the issue of encroachment and accountability of police personnel.

Later, the ACP emphasised upon the need for installation of CCTVs, alarms in all societies and DDA pockets. ACP MS Randhawa informed that there had been 70% reduction in snatching cases. He suggested that all societies should implement the token system for vehicles.
He also insisted on checking all locked flats randomly from 11 PM to 4 AM. On verification of guards and security agencies. Both DCP/ACP stressed in compliance with the new Private Security Act passed by Parliament, police will get a list of all registered and recognised security companies and will circulate the same among resident to select new security agencies
