One of the biggest parks in Sector 7, behind Brahma Apartments, has been in a deplorable state for a long time. It has no grass, no plants, no recreation equipment. Boundary walls are damaged and grills have disappeared. Social activist from Sector 7, Rajeev Solanki says, "The park is centrally located and covers seven societies like Brahma Apartments, Harsukh Apartments, Young Aheria Society, Kamala Vihar Society, Satisar Apartments, Rashi Apartments. People from surrounding areas as well as resident of Sector 7 use this park for walks. There is a small park also beside the big park. That is also in a pathetic condition. The gate of that park is broken and people use it for garbage dumping.
Residents of nearby areas say that there are two tube wells in the park but neither of them is functional. MM Pandita, resident of Sector 7 says, "I have been seeing the park in this state for more than a year." President of DDA Pocket 1, Sector 7, OP Kain says, "High mast lights are not working due to which drunkards and anti-social elements use the park after sunset. Due to this security of residents living in surrounding areas is compromised".
